The brand, House of Primes, that I interned for had a  collaboration with the Kalamkari NGO, Dwaraka based in Kalahasti, I had developed designs using using dots for Kalamkari. The inspiration was taken from pointillism and impressionism and inculcated with the Indian textile form, Kalamkari from Andra Pradesh, India. Colours that could be made using natural dyes was used. Floral patterns were explored as the Kalamkari artisans would be comfortable and familiar. I researched in depth about pointillism and impressionism and inculcated the idea in simple floral patterns.
