Project Brief:

- Developing checks and stripes inspired by the houses of Karaikudi and taking inspiration from elements of the Chettinad culture. 

- Trend forecast and incorporating current trends while maintaining the brand’s aesthetics and look.

- Determining suitable weave structures to match the feel of the collection and developing colour variations of the designs.

- Choosing suitable fabric and natural dye tones that compliment the look and feel of the Spring Summer 2021 collection.

- Creating patterns inspired by vintage French fabrics and the Athangudi tiles.

- Explore and create interesting fabric techniques and create flat sketches of the final silhouettes.
