The project I had worked on was to design a stole collection combining two traditional artforms. The artforms I had chosen are Kasuri, an Ikat dyeing technique from Japan and Kasuti, a traditional form of folk embroidery practiced in the state of Karnataka, India. I had combined both the artforms to create a unique visual effect. I have used softwares Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator to achieve visuals close to the Ikat effect.
